A #MyNewLife Novel
Joie Stevens put all her dreams on hold the day she became a mom. As a

Except maybe an attractive football coach. Who very literally gets in
As assistant football coach for the Flinton State University Vikings,
Jack Pride really has nothing to complain about. He has a job he loves and
friends he enjoys. Certain he had his one true love in his late wife, the last
thing on his mind is dating.
Until he runs into a beautiful non-traditional student. Who he very
literally runs into.
This three-part story reminds us love can be better the second time

I can not tell you how much I loved Pride and Joie!!!
This is one of those feel good books that will stay with you forever. Goodness it was such a fun RomCom that kept me laughing my ass off!!! Annd one of my fav laugh your ass moments will be the "bull riding skills" I still giggle at this one, I think when I need a laugh in the future, I will definitely go back and read this chapter!!! haha
Soo Pride and joie is about a single 42 year old Joie who is going back to college. She is actually attending the same college as her son who is a football player and has been attending for 3 years before she decided to attend as well. Some of the things she says and does, I can sooo relate to and found myself giggling at her and I really fell in love with her!! So much fun and sass!!
Anyway, after her first day of class, she was staring at her map of the campus and was not paying attention to where she was going, she then ran into a big body, making her satchel fly out of her arms and all over the sidewalk. She recognizes the big body as one of her sons football coaches. Ohh lord was he gorgeous. A "silver fox"..built like an athlete, big and broad shoulders, huge biceps....she said he definitely takes care of his "dad bod!" bahaha Joie ends up "running" into him a few more times at school and he asks her out on a date or two before she lets him know that her kid goes to school there. Of course he thinks that she may be trying to move her son further up the ladder but he was sooo wrong. And Joie with her sassy self puts him in his place for even thinking that!!
I gave Pride & Joie 5 iScream Cones!! If you love a good RomCom and throw in a sports book..this book is definitely for you!!! I am such a sucker for a great sports romance...they always make me smile!!! Just love them!!! Thanks for the Awesome Read M.E Carter!!! I loved Pride & Joie!!
Mother, reader, storyteller—ME Carter never set out
to write books. But when a friend practically forced a copy of Twilight into
her hands, the love of the written word she had lost as a child was rekindled.
With a story always rolling around in her head, it should come as no surprise that she finally started putting them on paper. She lives in Texas with
her four children, Mary, Elizabeth, Carter and Bug, who sadly was born long
after her pen name was created, and will probably need extensive therapy
because of it.
