"Deny, deny, deny."
I can't find the words to tell you how much I enjoyed this story. It's an eye-opening #friends2lovers romance that had me smiling and sighing non-stop.
Chase it totally irresistible. He's a bad boy that spends a good portion of every hockey game in the penalty box for fighting, but that's not what he's known for with the ladies. He treats them like queens, and even when he dumps them there's no hard feelings. They all love him and cannot understand how his best friend is a girl. He's over six feet of tanned ripped muscle and has a reputation for having a huge d*@k. Who could resist that? All of his team mates think his best friend, Cassie, is hot. But they've been warned she's off-limits. Not because he wants her though. No, it's because she doesn't date players. Yeah, right. Do you believe that?
I didn't think so. Their family and friends don't either. Unfortunately, Chase and Cassie do. They have been best friends since they were teenagers. They would do anything for each other. While they each acknowledge that they find the other attractive, they care too much to ever risk what they have by acting on it. "Deny, deny, deny." That's the plan and that seems to be working for them...so far.
This couple is absolutely adorable. Their witty banter kept me highly entertained. And their friends were very amusing too. Bad Reputation is only the first book in the Bad Boys of Sports series so I'm very excited that there will be more Texas Tornadoes #HockeyHotties in my future. The line forms here...
