I have to say that I enjoyed Perfect Love even more than book 1. I found it to be written better and it was more engaging. I loved the fact that it picks up right where book 1 ended and we the reader are pulled into the harshness that is Quinn and Cash's relationship. A major bomb about Cash's past has just been dropped on Quinn while she is waiting to board the plane for Boston. Now away at school, Quinn throws herself into her studies. She is trying to gain some sort of control over her life but finds it a constant battle. Cash is never far from her thoughts and she still loves him just as much, but she just doesn't know that she will ever be able to forgive him for the lies and deception that he caused.
Cash has just watched the one girl that he really loves and cares about walk away and move across the country and more than anything he wants to fight for a chance to fix the mistakes of his past so that maybe he has a chance to make things right with Quinn. Dealing with his past and all the hurt he has caused proves to be a struggle and he wants more than anything to find a way to fix what they once had. Hearts have been broken and they both are trying to pick up the pieces that are left and move forward, but when their paths cross once again. will they both be strong enough to beat the temptation that made that their past relationship so hot and exciting or will they both have a change of heart and find them taking a second chance at happiness?
Go and grab Perfect Love and continue the journey that is Cash and Quinn's story. You will be taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The push and pull and the fight for the control that they both so desperately want in their lives is almost heartbreaking at times. I loved this story and I am so glad I took the time to read the work of a new to me author.
