The Do-Over by Julie A. Richman

The Do-Over is about two individuals who walk in the same circle for years but have never met before, until one day in the sun on a cruise. Tara is trying to get away, when a few sun rays, some rum and a great guy turn her life upside down. Love at first sight is really a sticky term for me, but INSTANT friends with some attraction, DRAWS me in. Tara is not looking for anything but her draw to Wes is undeniable.
Wes is on the cruise with his sister. His sister is HAG and heart broken. Wes feels like he has to be there for his sister. Wes has the same instant draw to Tara, just a small hiccup though. He has a girlfriend.
One night chasing the sun rise turns into a great night of just getting to know someone who could be your best friend in a different world.
Cruise ends and they don’t see each other for years……. Life happens for both of them! Life has sucked for both of them! Until one fateful day! Wes and Tara are brought back together. Can they pick up a friendship easily again? Can a friendship turn into true love? Can fate change EVERYTHING in one small bad judgment call?
From the beginning of this book you feel like you are walking the line of two people who need each other in so many ways.
There is nothing I love in a book more than a good story line, I want to be drawn in. Julie has a great way of relating her characters to everyday people with everyday problems. It is also nice to read about characters that are around the age of the reader.
I am such a huge fan of Julie. For some reason her books always come to be at the right time. Recently, I have been in touch with a friend I met over 22 years ago. I have not seen or talked to him in 22 years, bam The Do-Over is in my inbox. Damn you Julie, BBC hates you!!!
